CCS was represented at the recent Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) annual conference. Our session topic was entitled Harness the Power of Fundraising and Access to Achieve Vision. All That Jazz
The CHS Jazz Band had an opportunity to mentor CMS students this week. It was a fun time for all! We are so fortunate to have such a strong program for these students to explore, and many times excel in, music.
March Madness? Actually, It Is Attendance Celebration Madness
March Madness is exciting! Auburn basketball has made it even more so! But these WES students are very excited about their own event: Attendance Celebration! These students celebrated their accomplishment of attendance with a few hoops and a lot of fun!
Lady Cats Golf Team Features CMS Players
Madison C., Kate C., Mary Charles D. and Ellie W. are posting great results from the course. They recently beat Lawrence County by 10 strokes. These CMS girls have now won 3 in a row.
Ready to Read "Stone Fox"
A childhood favorite, "Stone Fox", is on the agenda for these second graders. Exciting times are ahead as they join this adventure!
April Fools' Day Fun
The Zebras at CCPS weren't happy when they found out they had received Brown Es as their special treat. Things turned out much better when they got real brownies later.
CMS is IBO 3D State Champions!
The recent 3D tournament was sponsored by the International Bowhunters Association. Arianna S. was overall 1st place girl with a 286, Briana W. received 2nd with 282. Will B. was overall 1st place boys with a 283, Jack Y. received 2nd with 280. We had several great scores that helped bring home the championship!!
Bearcat Anglers, Houston Smith and Jack West, Qualify for National Championship
The Cullman Bearcat Fishing Team competed in the largest tournament in the South on Saturday March 30, the Mossy Oak Fishing Bassmaster High School Southern Open presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors at Lake Guntersville.
The 'Cats had a strong showing, led by Houston Smith and Jack West, who finished 26th with 13 pounds, 12 ounces, Lawson Graves and Keaton Kinney who finished 31st with 13 pounds, 4 ounces, and Lou Ayers and Zeb Lambert who finished 39th with 12 pounds and 7 ounces. With their Top 30 finish, Houston and Jack qualified for the High School National Championship.

Toucan Talk
The CCPS Toucans have been sharing their writing. Speaking and listening are important skills that our students develop. Using the microphone is fun too!
Friday Fun Day
These East Beasts combined a little planting with a scavenger hunt in the outdoor classroom for some fun on a drizzly Friday.
You & Me, He & She
Mrs. Hayes’ WES students were using Quizziz to take a pretest on pronouns before beginning their unit. They are also learning to write letters and have their own post office boxes to have an audience for their writing.
