Parkway commemorates September 11

Big picture
This year marks the 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001. In honor of the anniversary, Parkway students and staff will participate in activities to honor, remember and reflect on this historic day for our country.

Students (grades 3-12) will participate in age-appropriate classroom lessons on Friday, September 10. Parents can also visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum for learning resources specific to youth and families.

Students and staff will also watch a video with interviews of Parkway staff and our community first responders about September 11 and its impact on our community.

Watch the video live Friday, September 10, at 9 am here.

Early release on September 15

Wednesday, September 15, will be Parkway's first early release of the year. There are eight early release days scheduled for the 2021-22 school year. Early releases allow teachers to dedicate time to review each student’s progress.
