Jackie Robbinson Was the first ever African American to play in the Major legue, in 1947.

Jackie Robinson was born in Cairo, Georgia in 1919 to a family of sharecroppers. Jackie Robinson wen't to UCLA, and was none for baseball, basketball, football and track.

What he did

Jackie Robinson was the first african american to play in the major leagues, which broke the color barrier. This set the path for other African Americans and for the civil right movement.


If I could interview Jackie Robinson these are some questions I would ask him. What was it like being the only African American in the major league at the time, what was it like when you were at home with your family, and what was your team like.
