CASL Adult Day Service First Biennial Art Show
Chinese American Service League Adult Day Service Center presents:
"Serendipity" is the first biennial art show started by a group of older adults who participate in the therapeutic arts programming at the Adult Day Service part of the Chinese American Service League. Participants are all recent Chinese immigrants who average the age of 85. Despite their cultural association with the arts had solely been related to function, they found new meaning to create --- for personal expression. Having discovered their new found voice in expressive arts, the participants are thrilled to share their accomplishments with the world. Projects that range from 2D - 4D will be on display. Come celebrate with the artists, appreciate the art, watch performances, and participate in our group art project that would be open to all visitors. Please don't miss this one of a kind art exhibit will be on for 1 day only, on May 22nd, 2013 from 10am - 2pm, located at Grand Hall of Chinese American Service League building (2141 S Tan Ct, Chicago IL 60616)!
