What does Drugs Abuse Do to You?
Causes Stress on Family and Friend Relationships
People tend to stay away from family and friends to do drugs. They might end up stealing money from the people they care about to buy drugs.
Destroys Your Future
Drugs cause people to skip school and do illegal things. You could go to jail, and even after quitting drugs and getting out of jail, it will be hard to find a job.
Death
Most often the body cannot handle a drug. The body is overworked and ultimately fails. You can also put yourself in deadly situations such as car accidents and fights.
Drug abuse kills more than 200,000 people a year
What Do I Do?
Try to avoid situations involving drugs. It is hard for a person to try a drug only one time because they are so highly addictive. If anyone ever offers drugs to you, say no. If you know anyone addicted to drugs try to help them by offering a Substance Abuse Counseling Class. The best way to avoid drug abuse is not to do drugs at all.
