Building Blocks to Success!
The "Education, Go Get It Week" was celebrated at Gabe P. Allen this week. We are committed to guide our students towards college awareness and readiness. To encourage our students to plan for higher education we did the following:
Monday: “Believing is Achieving” Staff members wore graduation cap/cap & gown and shared information with students regarding their college experiences.
Tuesday: “Magic Number, When will you graduate? “Students created a classroom/hallway display depicting the year that they will graduate from high school.
Wednesday: “Hats off to Education” Staff and students wore a hat or hat with a college logo.
Thursday: “Dress for Success” Students dressed up as their future career.
Friday: “Off to College We Go” – Staff and students wore their favorite college T-shirt, sweat shirt or jersey.
Thank you to all staff members for your commitment to help students learn about their higher education opportunities.
