Breckenridge ISD Closed Indefinitely
In response to the county, state, and federal public health recommendations and emergency declarations, Breckenridge ISD will remain closed indefinitely. When public health officials determine that schools can safely reopen, the Breckenridge ISD community will be notified with sufficient time to plan to return to school.
All Breckenridge ISD campuses will continue to provide instruction in the most effective manner possible during this closing. Breakfast and lunch will continue to be served to all school age children 18 years or younger. Please pay attention to the COVID-19 webpage found at www.breckenridgeisd.org for updates.
Thank you for your consideration and patience during this unique and challenging time.
Wash your hands! Practice social distancing! Stay safe and healthy!
Sincerely,
Earl Jarrett
Interim Superintendent
At Home Learning:
While the district is closed in an effort to protect our community from the spread of COVID-19, we expect our students to continue learning at home with the remote support of our teachers and support personnel.
Starting next week (March 23-27), teachers will be communicating directly with families and students with specific information regarding their class and the required lessons for students. It is important for parents and caregivers to monitor this work so that learning is on-going as we wait to re-open schools.
Check your email daily for updates and important information. Teachers have sent emails regarding joining their Google Classroom. If you have any questions, be sure to email your teachers. They are here for you Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Any communication after these allotted times will be answered in a timely manner.
