Student PLP Dates (District Mandate)
These are the following dates that we have set aside for Student PLP updates. As you know, LEAD 2021 specifically states that every student in GCISD will have and update their Personalized Learning Plan. This to be completed once before the first grading period and each time after 1st, 2nd, and 3rd 9 week report cards.
Mark your calendars
Friday- August 25th (B.O.Y.- Goal Setting)
Thursday- October 26th (Reflection of goals -1st 9 weeks)
Friday- January 12th (Reflection of goals- 2nd 9 weeks)
Friday- March 23rd (Reflection of goals- 3rd 9 weeks)Dr. Ryan's Superintendent Objective # 6
All CTMS websites will need to be updated prior to the end of day on Friday, August 18th.

First Couple of Weeks- No Wolf Time
August 21st - Solar Eclipse
Thank you to the Social Studies department for graciously offering to run the students' pictures through their classes.
Social studies teachers please bring your students down during the following times:
6th grade teachers the first fifteen minutes of the period
7th grade teachers the second fifteen minutes
8th grade teachers the last fifteen minutes
There will be picture order forms placed in each teacher's box this week to be handed out during 2nd period on Monday. Please encourage your students to take this home and have their parents fill it out and bring exact monies (cash or check) on Friday. All money will go directly to Lifetouch. If students forget their order form they may order pictures online within 48 hours of picture day.
There will also be reminders for picture day placed in your boxes Wednesday to pass out during your second period. Thank you so much for your help in advance to make picture day go smoothly!

Wolf Howls
Alex howls the entire staff for your high energy and professionalism these last two weeks. This is the first time we've come back so early from summer and so early before the start of the year, so understandably, people were a little off kilter. You all got through the rough stretch and supported one another like the Wolves I know you to be. We are Wolf Strong!
Tabetha sends a loud howl to her amazing teammate Brooke Teeter-Stocz!!! Thanks for helping me stay organized on learning days, supporting me when I presented and making me a better teacher by pushing me to do new things while we lesson plan together! YOU ARE A GEM!
Tabetha would like to howl out for Mrs. Jamie Keeling! She is so nice and helpful! She gave me nails a hammer and a crate! She is the best!!!! Thanks for looking out for me!

Cheryl howls loudly for the new ASPIRE teachers - Kameron, Kristen, Lindsey, and Sterling - whose dedication and enthusiasm for teaching students with unique needs has been invigorating and infectious. Jennifer, Erin and I are looking forward to a wonderful year with you all!!!!

The loudest howl goes out to Tabetha, Nate, and Billy for being flexible and having a "can do" attitude coming into the a coaching year that will look a little different. They are the best team to be on!
