A Note from Mr. Bender

Dear Families,

Thank you to everyone that attended a parent-teacher conference this week. Our teachers enjoyed meeting with families and sharing the great work our students are doing! If you were not able to attend a conference, it’s not too late. Please reach out to your child’s teacher to set up a time to meet.

Thank you to Mrs. Watson and Mrs. Jones for organizing the Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser. Our students and families raised over $10,000 for the American Heart Association, and Mrs. Jones was a great sport getting a pie in the face on the morning announcements! Way to go, Cubs!

Did you know that 2020-2021 yearbooks are currently on sale? Please see below for more information on ordering yours!

Have a great weekend!

Mike Bender

With this project, families will learn ways to help their child practice skills they are learning in class as part of the district’s Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum. Parents have access to a library of recorded sessions and tipsheets. Find more information on the AKS at Home web page. **NEW DATES FOR SECOND SEMESTER HAVE BEEN ADDED!**

Sulwe
