Weekly Update
Holy Trinity Catholic School February 11th, 2021
Prayer
Dear God,
The Next 40 Days, Don't let me focus on some thing I'm giving up.
Let me focus on someone who gave it all up for me.
Renew my mind and draw me back to my first love.
Prepare my heart for Easter, for your Sacrifice, for your Resurrection!
Amen

A Note from Mrs. Longden
It is hard to believe that Lent is upon us! It seems like just yesterday we were taking down the Christmas tree and storing the decorations. I guess time flies when you are having fun learning and growing. Speaking of fun, we had an amazing Catholic Schools Week celebration and 100th Day of School! During Catholic Schools Week our students and staff celebrated what makes Catholic education so special.
Now that Lent is here we have a chance to slow down and reflect on all that God has done for us. On Fat Tuesday we will put away the "Alleluia" for the season of Lent. On Ash Wednesday we will have Mass with distribution of Ashes.
As we travel through Lent and move closer to Holy Week, we will focus on the Pillars of Lent: Praying, Fasting, and Almsgiving. We will partake in Reconciliation and walk the way of Jesus as we participate in Stations of the Cross.
