Mrs. Walters' News

Dear Bushnell Elementary Families,

We've had a wonderful week of learning at Bushnell! When I visit classrooms and check in with students, I am amazed at the growth I see. Kindergarten students are starting to really take off with reading! It is so fun to see their proud faces when they can actually read a book to me! And first grade students have come so far, they are launching in all areas, so impressive! Thank you to our teachers and staff for keeping the Bushnell learning train chugging along, especially in this challenging year.

Report Cards are coming home today for all students that are in person. Take a peek in your child's folder or backpack for those. For our virtual students, they have been mailed out and you should receive them very soon. If you have any questions, you can contact your child's teacher or call the office at 987.2650.

This week we started our 'Bushnell Countdown to Break' with some school spirit days! Please see the daily dress up ideas below and encourage your child to be part of the fun next week! One fun tradition is our pajama day on the last Friday before break where the students listen to 'The Polar Express' and then watch the movie to compare the different media. Definitely dress your little one in their jammies next Friday so they will be comfy and cozy with the rest of us!

We have quite a large lost and found collection! Please see the pictures below and claim anything that belongs to your child!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Erin Walters

Bushnell Elementary Principal
