Computer Science Standards:

Networking and the Internet 1) Identify appropriate and inappropriate behaviors for communicating in a digital environment.
ELA Standard:
Ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as a basis for the answers.
Student Directions:
1. You will use the digital links to answer questions about safe and responsible use of information and technology. You can use a sticky note and pencil to write down text evidence from your digital resource that supports your answer.
2. Find the questions on the Padlet, and post your answer under each question. Don't forget to use text evidence from your digital resource to support your answer.
3. If you finish early, play some of the digital citizenship games, read three classmates' posts on the padlet, or you can find more videos about digital citizenship on the internet to watch.
1. How can you stay safe from inappropriate information on the internet?
2. What are your responsibilities as a digital citizen? What is a digital footprint?
3. What can you trust on YouTube? Watch this video and use examples from the video to support your answer.
4. "Happily ever after is only a click away!" Explain the positives and negatives associated with this phrase.
5. Can we believe everything we read and see on the internet? Explain your answer.
6. Explain what it means to think before you post.
