Highlights from last week!
Last week we continued our book study using The Wild Robot, and discussed a the question "what characteristics are helping Roz survive on the island?" via a FlipGrid connection. We also connected our reading to science, and used their creativity to design a camouflaged version of Roz. Students discussed animals that have adaptations that help them survive, and connected it to how Roz was using that knowledge to help her survive in the wild.
In math we continued our rounding practice. Through our Flocabulary account, students were able to watch a short song on rounding and practice. We also logged in to Google Classroom to work on a rounding Hyperdoc. All of this rounding practice will be a good segue into estimating sums and differences using story problems this week!
