If you have any family members in the household that have tested positive, do the following:

- The school or the district COVID-19 response team will contact you.
If your child has been identified as being in close contact with a person that has tested positive, do the following:

We are excited to share the 7 Habits® with our families. We invite you to use the menu below to select a habit to focus on each week for the next 20 weeks. Week one begins November 2nd. For weeks 21-33, return to the top of the menu and challenge your family to focus on the habit not selected the first time around. Consider keeping a family journal to reflect on your learning or track your efforts with photos.
Students are encouraged to share a photo of your completed activity or of your family working on the habit together! You can send your pictures to Mrs. Bush, School Social Worker @ bushje@northvilleschools.org or Mrs. Lindsay @ lindsayke@northvilleschools.org to be included in the morning announcements.

Early Childhood Pre-K Openings
Dress appropriately for the weather
The weather is quickly changing and is a bit cooler each day/week. It is important that your child be dressed appropriately when they come to school each day so they are prepared to participate in not only PE but also outside brain breaks and recesses.
2020-2021 Winchester Yearbook Orders
Winchester Elementary Yearbooks are now available to order! Please order by December 31st to help us accurately determine the full order quantity. Yearbooks are $17 each (plus the Balfour site adds a $1 handling fee per transaction). This includes shipping to the school and MI sales tax. Full details of how to order are in the attached file. The yearbook will include all Winchester students (in-person and virtual). Questions can be directed to winchestermiyearbook@gmail.com.
Submit Pictures for Yearbook
Please submit First Day of School pictures, Winchester PTA Drive-in Movie pictures, and any other school activity pictures (Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Nuts About Science, etc.) for yearbook inclusion. Details of how to submit pictures are in the attached file. Images need to be high-resolution and in JPEG format.
The Yearbook Committee will review all photos & determine final yearbook content. We cannot guarantee that all submissions can be used in the book. Some pictures we are not able to use due to low picture quality, but we do make every effort to utilize all submissions. We need and appreciate all picture submissions as these make up a large part of our yearbook each year. Please submit only high-resolution photos that are school related activities/clubs. We welcome pictures from in-person and virtual students.
MORNING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Do you have a few minutes in the morning to help out at the school? We are looking for a few parent volunteers each day to monitor students as they are headed to their entrance doors. Volunteers will greet students, remind them to keep distance between other children, and make sure they get to their entrance doors!
Volunteers will need to have an updated ICHAT form (for this school year), distance on school grounds and wear a mask.
Please email your completed form and a copy of your driver's license to Deb Obsniuk at obsniude@northvilleschools.org.
If you are interested in helping out, please sign up for a slot using Sign Up Genius.
If you sign up, a brief meeting will be held with Kelly Lindsay, Principal to go over the procedures.
