Elementary School Snapshot

Dear Parents,

I hope you are all well.

We enjoyed two fantastic days of Student Led Conferences this week. Thank you so much for your enthusiastic participation in this event, it was pleasing to see our students confidently share their learning with you. We hope that you gained a deeper understanding of your child’s knowledge and skills through this experience.

We say it often, but I’ll say it again, it is so great to have our parent community on campus! This close knit sense of community is incredibly important to all of us at DAA, as we know that our students succeed when parents and teachers work closely together. We look forward to many more community events in the coming months.

Next week is the last week of school before Spring Break. During this week we anticipate the start of Ramadan to be on Thursday the 23rd of March. Please note our amended school timings during Ramadan which were shared by your child’s class teacher. If you have any queries about this change please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Trimester Two reports will be sent home on Friday the 24th of March. This progress report will build on your experience in the Student Led Conferences and provide you with evidence of your child’s academic progress.

I encourage you to continue to read everyday at home with your child.

Have a great weekend
