Notes from the office
Thank you PTA and families for joining us for our first Family Dance. We had the best time!
Thank you Kindness Krew for collecting Diapers for Tornado victims. We collected over 50 packages of diapers!
Class Pictures are on Tuesday, April 12th. Order online at mylifetouch.com using picture day ID: EVTGVW73W
Last Day of School
The school day missed because of the tornado will be made up at the end of the year. The students' last day will be Tuesday, May 31st.
You can now pay for lost/damaged library books online at https://osp.osmsinc.com/SpringdaleAR
We Need Your Plastic
Please help us recycle and earn a bench for our school! We have collected almost half of the 2,000 needed items. As a reminder, we need #2 plastics that are not see-through (no more milk jugs). Usually, coffee containers, cleaners, and detergents are made with this kind of plastic. Even the Chick-fil-A and Subway Milk containers count!!!! Keep them coming. We hate to miss out on a free bench for our school.
Counseling Lesson Theme- Perseverance
For the month of April, we are focusing on the word perseverance. Perseverance is the drive to keep working even when things get hard and you want to quit.
Help your child learn to persevere by engaging in difficult tasks with him/her. Buy a large puzzle, learn and perfect a new skill, etc.. Find something to do together and commit to pushing each other through the challenge.
Read About it!

Talk About it!
What do you think perseverance means and why is it important?
Tell me about a time when it was hard to get through a challenge. How did you feel afterward?
What are some things that are hard for you to push through, and how can I help you?
What are 3 goals you have? What may be some challenges to meeting these goals? What will happen if you don’t give up?
