IB Update:
Although we work with our IB scholars to develop strong communication skills at all times, it is especially important at the end of the quarter. Encourage your students to practice e-mailing teachers and talking to them during synchronous class time and office hours to get any help they need to do their best before the end of the quarter on Thursday.

Ramsey Resiliency:
A little about Anxiety
Anxiety is a common feeling usually described as "uneasiness" or "apprehension." At one time or another, everyone experiences anxiety. It is normal and highly manageable. Some other words to describe anxiety: stress, worry, fear, edginess, freaking out, angst, nervousness.. While everyone experiences anxiety, some of us feel it more often, more deeply, and some less frequently, and less intensely. Your experience of anxiety will depend on genetics, brain chemistry, life events, and personality. Some of these factors you have no control over. How you look at life events and how you interpret them is up to you. How did (or does) your family of origin handle anxiety? How would you describe anxiety? Would you describe yourself as highly anxious, moderately anxious, or rarely anxious? How do you feel in your mind, body and emotions when anxious? What do you do to manage your anxiety?
