@your school library
October 2017
What's new @your school library?
French Club! A lovely group of 5th grade girls wandered into the library and asked if they might start a French Club. Of course, I said "oui"! And that being the extent of my knowledge of French, I then had to figure out what in the world I was going to do! Enter, Mrs. Constant, with her degree in French, knowledge of the french language and travel of France! Lucky me! Also,her daughter, our wonderful and generous, Mrs. Wilson, is giving of herself and all of her knowledge to make this program a success for "les filles"! She has given me so much help and is making these little girls very happy! Thank you, ladies!

And, I saved the very best for last..........drumroll please......this is the MOST popular event in town every fall........Family Fright Night!!!!!!
What is it? Well, it is a night of crazy fun and camping! There will be hayrides, tent trick or treating, costume & scream contests, a scary movie, campfire, S'mores, yummy food and more! We went last year (of course, we didn't actually rough it and sleep overnight - I just live across the street) but the kids and I had a blast. It was so much fun. And I am going to do it again. Let me know if you go, and I'll give you my "tent address" so you can stop by and we can visit. I promise you, you will not regret this one. Bring your hubby/wife, kids, grandkids, friends, whomever.....but don't forget your earplugs. The fun starts on Sat., October 21st - Sun., October 22nd and you can begin arriving at the park at 4:00 p.m. It is located at Stewart Creek Park (3700 Sparks Rd.).
