Contemplate the most pressing problems of our time!
TED2017 The future is you (live webcast)
TED2017 is a week-long conference in Vancouver. The goal this year is to explore the most pressing questions of our time and to imagine what our shared future might look like. Shepaug Valley School has been granted a license to share in this experience, via live webcast, on one of the conference days, Friday, April 28. We hope that you will bring a class - or just yourself - to share the experience. See below for a list of Friday's dynamic speakers. For more information, please see Wendy Youngblood or Joan Temple.

More about TED...
For newbies, TED is an organization whose mission is to promote the sharing of ideas that matter. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design. The organization hosts conferences where individuals give “the talk of their lives” in 18 minutes or less. Topics span all disciplines and unlock intellectual, artistic, and even emotional possibilities for all of us, both in our lives and in our classrooms.
