Happy New Year!!!

Welcome back to Hernandez's Aspire Program!!



We will hit the ground running with a full schedule beginning Monday, January 13th. Academic and Enrichment classes will resume.


Reminders:


  • Student attendance is extremely important. Please encourage student attendance to receive the full benefit of the program.
  • Parent Involvement is a grant requirement and parents are to volunteer at least 4 hours per semester.

Parent Involvement Night

Our first Parent Involvement Night of the new year will be held on Tuesday, January 14th at 6:00 pm in the Cafeteria. The evening will focus on C.A.T.C.H. and Building Champions. Parent Involvement nights are sponsored by Hernandez Parent Involvement Committee, Title I, ASPIRE, PTA, Hernandez Student Clubs and Organizations and Local Community Businesses.

Round Rock ISD is excited to introduce FREE online tutoring and counseling services from Qannections.



Representatives from Qannections will be at Hernandez to provide parent information about student use of these online services. This is an exclusive opportunity for ASPIRE students on our campus.


MLK Community Service Project Presented by: ASPIRE

Saturday, Jan. 18th, 10am-1pm

400 West Anderson Avenue

Round Rock, TX

Join us for this family service project. We will be making blankets for Family Eldercare. No sewing is required. You may also bring a canned food donation. It will be held at CD Fulkes Middle School on Saturday, January 18th, from 10-1:00pm. Lunch will be provided.

Volunteer Opportunities

Parents will receive volunteer hours by attending the Parent Involvement Nights, Parent Meetings, and MLK Community Service Project.
