We were excited to welcome our 7th graders back to campus last week!


No school Tuesday, November 3rd.

Parents- Drop Off Reminder

Even if your student is arriving late to school, please drop them off in their designated drop off area.

6th grade students will be dropped off at the front of the school, 7th and 8th grade students will be dropped off behind the gym. Homeroom teachers will notify the office that the students were tardy.

Basketball Tryout Information

Students in grades 7-8 who are interested in playing basketball this year must have all Dragonfly paperwork completed by October 23, 2020. There are no exceptions and no extensions; if you have not completed all required paperwork, you will not be able to try out. Please see attached flyer to sign up for DragonFly and complete paperwork. Girls’ tryouts will be October 26th and 27th 2:40-4:00. Boys’ tryouts will be October 28th and 29th 2:40-4:00. All students trying out must be dressed ready for practice(face to face students bring your practice clothes to school), wear a face mask, and bring a filled water bottle (face to face students bring your water bottle to school). Parents must remain in the cars when dropping students off and picking them up.

Please note: there will be no buses or carpooling to transport players to or from games. Parents/guardians will be responsible for their child’s transportation to and from each game and practice.

Archery Tryout Information-UPDATED

Archers Wanted!

“Shoot like a Shark”

• Must be ready and willing to learn all aspects of archery.

• Must have someone who is able to pick you up from practice and obtain transportation to tournaments.

• Must be able to maintain a “C” average at all times.

• Must NOT have any behavior issues.

• Must be willing to participate in fundraising.

Only 24 students will be accepted onto the archery team this year. If you have never shot before but are interested in learning, I highly recommend you sign up to be a part of the 21st CCLC after school program. ****All required paperwork must be filled out prior to meeting on the 27th. All paperwork can be completed in the Schoology group.

****Nearpod must be completed before meeting on the 27th.

Please send check or cash with your student to pay fees or to purchase Alba apparel.

Register now for the 21st Century Grant!

Alba will be offering many great opportunities to students through the 21st Century Grant. We will offer homework help, special activities (dance, archery, technology, music, and more) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after school.
