Robert Haig Weitbrecht
Robert Haig Weitbrecht was born on April 11, 1920 in Orange, California. He died at age of 63 on May 19, 1983 from an automobile accident. Weitbrecht was born deaf his education was pretty mainstream in his early school life. In 1942 Robert went to earn his B.S in Astronomy from the University of California, Berkeley and finished his education with a M.S in Astronomy from the University of Chicago in 1957.He was first a physicist at Radiation Laboratory at the University of California, then an electronics scientist at the U.S Naval Air Missile Test Center.
