AMI Days/Snow Days
As the weather grows colder and we spy a few snowflakes, we wanted to remind you about what we will do when it isn't safe to have in-person school.
The state allocated five AMI (alternative methods of instruction) distance learning days, which means that on bad weather days, all students will learn from home from 9 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. On the sixth bad-weather day, we will call a snow day, which would mean all students, even Park Hill Online Academy students, will not have school.
College Visits
They are ALL in person and just slightly after school dismisses at 3:10 p.m. in the afternoon.

National Reflections Contest
PHHS PTA wants to give our students confidence in their abilities to explore ideas and learn through the arts!
Each year hundreds of thousands of students in preschool through grade 12 create and submit original works in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. Students may participate in the national awards program through their school's PTA.
The 2021-2022 theme "I Will Change the World By..." will spark imagination and creativity in school and at home. Students are encouraged to imagine, create and celebrate with Reflections during National Arts & Humanities Month this October. Submissions will be accepted November 1 - December 2.
There are six arts categories—dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. Students may enter the National PTA Reflections Program in one or more arts categories.
For more information see https://mopta.org/reflections or contact PHHS PTA Reflections Chair Karyn Walden-Forrest
Park Hill Clothing center
The Park Hill Clothing Center would like to thank all of the families who have contributed to our facility. For anyone not familiar with the clothing center there is more information here:
https://www.parkhill.k12.mo.us/families/pta-clothing-center
If anyone needs to “shop” (the clothes are free) please sign up for a time slot here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508084fa4a72ba0fa7-ptapark
Volunteers are greatly needed! We have been fortunate to have received numerous donations, however we’ve had a difficult time hanging up all of the incoming clothes. There are two sign up genius links for volunteers: There is one sign up genius for the 2-4 pm timeslot every Tuesday that doesn't have shoppers present. That sign up is here and students are welcome to help out https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508084fa4a72ba0fa7-canyou
Then there is a second sign up for the Tuesday 10-12pm and 5-7pm slots when shoppers will be there. When shoppers are present we can't have students helping due to confidentiality. That sign up is here: https://www.signupgenius.com/.../508084fa4a72ba0fa7...
We appreciate all of your help!!
