How to Book a Time
- Go to a booking link. (Practice Example)
- If available, select a room, person, or piece of equipment.
- Select a time.
- Enter information in required fields.
- Click Confirm Booking button.
- An event will be added to the owner's calendar.
AND
Confirmation emails will be sent to the calendar owner and the person making the reservation.

Helpful Hints - Settings Editor
Basic
- Online - Make sure this has a check mark so your booking site is actively accepting bookings. Remove the check mark to stop accepting bookings.
Times
- Specify the dates and times you are available for bookings and hide the rest.
- Display - Change the time slot duration to specific minute lengths.
Advanced
- Units per Slot - Allow multiple bookings during a given slot. For example, you may want to allow 5 students to book themselves during a given tutorial time slot.

Booking Form
- Shorthand Code - Include for fields you may want to include on the calendar event and/or in the email confirmations. Similar to mail merge fields. Keep these short.
Example: Add a field called Room and make the shorthand code ROOM. Then you can use that field in the Afterwards section below. - Make Name and Email fields required.
Afterwards
- Messages - the message that appears on the site after a booking is complete.
- Google - The information included in the Calendar event. Use {} around Shorthand Codes to include those fields in the Calendar event.
Example: Include {ROOM} in the title of your event so you can quickly see what room an asset needs to be taken OR what room the appointment is in. - Email to User - Confirmation email that is sent to the user booking the time. Use {} around Shorthand Codes to include those fields in the email message.
Reminders
- Google - setup the default Calendar event reminder(s) for all bookings make through the site.

On Duty Events
