Principal's Message
Hello Falcons!
It was great seeing everyone at Open House yesterday. I hope you all enjoyed seeing what your kids have been up to this year. I want to give a huge shout out to Dawn Adams our Librarian for opening our Book Fair so you all could shop during Open House as well. Today was our last day of the Book Fair. Kids found so many great treasures. I'm glad we were able to get this up and running again this year.
This week our 4 graders went over to visit Sierra Ridge. They spent some time touring the campus with their student tour guides. This was followed by a fun mini concert by the Sierra Ridge band. They wrapped up with a presentation by Principal Ogzewalla. Our 4th graders represented Pinewood well. I'm proud of all of the growth they've made this year, and throughout their time at Pinewood. I wish them the best as they continue their journey through life!
Next week, our PTC will be holding a meeting at 2:45 in Room 2. This is a great time to come see what PTC is all about. They will be putting together raffle baskets, as well as holding elections for the PTC board for next school year. PTC has been instrumental in making so many of our fun activities at our school this year. It takes a lot of parent volunteers to make it happen!
Have a great weekend!
Heather Minton
Information and Updates:
- TK/Kindergarten Enrollment 2023/2024 - TK/Kindergarten Enrollment for next year is open. Enrollment packets are available in the Pinewood Office, District Office, and on our website. Returning these packets as soon as possible helps us to make sure we have accurate staffing to support your child. Students currently enrolled at Pinewood TK-4th Grade do not need to re-enroll.

We will also be putting together raffle baskets for the end of the year raffle. This would be an excellent time to come check out what PTC is all about.
- Pokemon Cards and Other Toys - Remember that students need to keep their toys, including Pokemon cards, at home. Students should not be bringing them to school.
