Wear RED on Thursday!
JSE thanks our Veterans!
Good evening,
Our students and staff will proudly honor our Veterans and active service men and woman during our Veterans Day Program Thursday presented through our JSE News and several other activities in their classrooms. We thank Veterans and their families, the JSE Choir, the Scouts, the community, and the PTO for their support! Students and staff will proudly cover the school with R.E.D for Remember Everyone Deployed, thank you for helping your child find a little red to wear. Be on the look out for your child's Veterans Day artwork keepsake coming home soon.
As we embark on what can be a busy season we take time to be grateful for the experiences of our students at JSE! I feel fortunate to be a part of a staff, PTO and community that takes time to create these experiences and most importantly, realizes experiences and involvement grow our children!
- Friendsgiving Candlelight lunch the 18th. The perfect event to be thankful for friends, family, and our JSE staff.
- Our Student Council, led by Mrs. Stokes and Mr. Dickey.
- Gratitude to our JSE choir and Mrs. Willis for her leadership. Our choir represents JSE at school wide and community events.
- We wish our Spell Bowl team and expert coach Mrs. Zaharias good luck Monday evening at the Spell Bowl competition.
- Our Robotics Team continues this year as RoboCats! We look forward to their teamwork and sharing of their learning on the JSE News. Mr. Smith is our lead RoboCat this year.
- PTO support of our grade level field trips.
Make it a week full of gratitude!
