Lead Learner's Message
Goooooood evening #BroncoStrong faculty and staff!
I hope everyone is having a fabulous and well deserved vacation! I have already sent you guys an upcoming list of events, but a the list will also be included in the Bronco Chronicles. In addition, I have sent everyone an invite to their EOY T-Tess Conference. Please be sure and read the attachment so you are prepared for the conference. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to email me or come by and chat. Also, make sure all grades are current by 4:30 p.m. on 3/19.
We will continue with our established interventions and clubs. I know you are working hard to reteach the standards and I truly appreciate how hard you are working for our kiddos. Don't forget, we will be on Team Time schedule every Wednesday and Friday, so tell your students to check the lists if they have forgotten where to report.
I hope you make this Friday the BEST Friday of the week! Thanks so much for all you do and don't forget, our mindsets shape our behavior when it comes to learning. #Growthmindset

Tech Tidbits - Flashcard Creation
Study Blue
StudyBlue allows users to create their own flashcards, using any combination of text, audio, and images (including voice recording on the mobile apps). Once a deck is made, you can study them like traditional flashcards— StudyBlue will show them to you one at a time—letting you decide if you want the term side or definition side first, flip them when you’re ready, and ask you to mark if you got the answer right or wrong. When you’re done, you’ll get a progress report, and if you want, you can review the whole deck again or just focus on the ones you got wrong.
Although a free account doesn’t give you access to StudyBlue’s huge library of cards, it does offer a peek: As you create your own cards, others appear in the margins, allowing you to borrow others’ phrasing if you like. This makes card creation fast and turns it into its own learning experience as students see how others have put the same content into words.
StudyBlue can turn a deck of flashcards into an online quiz or a printable review sheet. Users can also set study reminders to be sent via text or email. Cards can be created and studied on any Internet-connected device, so students can master content just about anywhere.
StudyBlue also has a search engine called Homework Help that allows any user to search for information from StudyBlue’s database of user-created flashcards.
As you study your flashcards, StudyBlue asks you to tell it if you got the answer right or wrong.
Website: studyblue.com Difficulty: Easy
Platform: Web, iOS, Android
Price: Free for basic use. Monthly subscriptions to access the library of other cards, remove ads, and use premium features are available.
