Message from Dr. Epperson

Hello from CMS! Our PTO met this week and I want to share some notes from the work happening in that organization.

The Cockrill Snack Shack desperately needs regular volunteers to help after school on an ongoing basis. Please help us keep the window open to serve our students and raise funds for our school.

View the schedule and sign up here. For questions, contact Stacy Powell - stacympowell@gmail.com

The support of our families has allowed the PTO to make some significant contributions to CMS this year! These include:

Library furniture, Flocabulary Software, Guest Speaker for students and parents, author visit, school dance, Andrew Dutton Scholarship fund and school plaque, Club CREED curriculum, staff appreciation, Cowboy Ticket incentives, 8th grade celebration, and 6th grade Round-Up. This list is not exhaustive, but I want you to see some of the many ways your contributions serve our school. Thank you!!

Notice there is no school Monday, January 21st.

Happy Weekend!

Mark Your Calendars!

Plan to join us on March 18th at 6:30pm. With generous support from PTO, we will host a parent workshop featuring guest speaker, Katie Greer. Ms. Greer established KL Geer Consulting and has become a leading expert and trainer on social media awareness and cyber safety for students and parents. She will lead workshops with students during the school day and the parent event that evening. We are very excited to have her and we want a packed house for the parent workshop.

Nurse Note

We will communicate the dates for these spinal screenings when they are determined.
