FROM THE PTO
Winterfest is quickly approaching!
Winterfest will be held on Friday, January 10th from 6-8PM. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including: craft tables, games, cake walk, cookie decorating and raffles. An order form was sent home to order tickets in advance. Tickets will also be available the night of the event.
We need your help to make the evening run as smooth as possible. There are two ways you can help!
1) Pick up a cake pan and bake a cake! Cake pans are available at GWS. Bake and decorate a cake and then bring them in the day of Winterfest. We will use these cakes for the cake walk.
2) Sign up to volunteer. We are looking for parents to sign up for a 30 minute block. This will still give you plenty of time to enjoy the evening with your family. Please click here to sign up.

EARN MONEY FOR GWS AS YOU CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSETS!
Put your unwanted items to good use by dropping them in our textiles recycling bin, located in our parking lot near the trash dumpsters. Ninety-five percent of all textiles can be recycled.
The following can be donated as long as they are clean & dry: clothing, shoes, pocketbooks, table linens, bed linens, draperies, throw rugs, and stuffed animals. Please place your items in plastic bags so that they will stay dry.
GWS will earn $100 for every ton of textiles placed in our recycling bin.
