Hi Middle School Students and Families

Students have been doing a good job in promptly making it to the buses after class. Let's remember to always bring your North ID card to show as you exit. Some have been a little forgetful in bringing their ID card daily. For those of you who still do not have a North ID, I am in contact with the company and hope to have one for you soon. In the meantime, please show your Middle School ID at the gate.

There are some days coming up in September/October that I wanted to let you know of that will be different than our normal Monday-Friday schedule

Tuesday September 19 will be LATE START and we will be on the regular Tuesday bell schedule. 1st period start time is at 9:20 AM

Thursday September 21 will be LATE START and we will be on the regular Tuesday bell schedule. 1st period start time is at 9:20 AM.

Tuesday October 10 there will be NO LATE START and we will be on the regular Monday bell schedule. 8:30 AM start time for 1st period!

Monday September 25th there is NO School for students

Monday October 9th there is NO School for students

Wednesday September 20 is North Back-To-School Night. I wanted to invite the parents to attend to meet your student's high school teacher.

Class visits start at 6:00 PM.

As a reminder students, your North class schedule will always take precedence over your middle school class schedule.

Your Middle School Administration has been notified of these special days and the bus pick up times will be adjusted accordingly.

If/When your student is absent please notify us via email by sending an absence note with the following information to cook.lindsay@tusd.org

Absence Notes should include:

1. Date

2. Name of your Child

3. Date of absence

4. Reason for absence (if out due to illness please specify what symptoms your child is having)

5. Parent/Guardian Name & Relationship (absence notes can only be accepted from Primary Guardians listed in PowerSchool)

6. Phone Number where you can be reached
