March 10th - Horse Stampede

March 15th deadline for Cass County Camp & Workshop Scholarships
Scholarship application forms are due at the Extension Office by 4:30 on March 15th; the 4-H council will vote and select winners at their council meeting on March 19th.
March 15th deadline for Cass County 4-H T-Shirt Contest
What should the design reflect? Something that represents Cass County 4-H, 4-H in general, the spirit of 4-H, and/or the why of 4-H! The 4-H Council will choose one design to print on t-shirts, which will then be for sale this spring.
Deadline is March 15, 2018. The 4-H Council will vote on March 19th, 2018.
April 15th deadline for NAYI application - "Nebraska Agricultural Youth Institute"
This is a proven outstanding agricultural industry experience ... our very own Sondra Buell attended NAYI "many moons ago!"

Announcement - Tractor Safety Workshop this summer - Mark your calendar!
We are excited to announce that Cass County will be hosting a workshop this summer called "Tractor Safety Training 2018.” It will be held June 29-30 at the Cass County Extension Office/fairgrounds. Upon completion students will receive the certification needed for working on a farm or ranch other than their own. Spread the word to others in our area as this is not just for 4-Hers.
