My Plate is important because it promotes a healthy lifestyle.It helps balance out the foods of life, to make sure people live good healthy lives. My plate is combined with exercise to benefit the lives of people around the world.

My Plate helps you portion out your healthy foods and if you follow those portions it helps you stay fit. Exercise combined with the healthy foods of My Plate helps live a healthier and better life. To stay healthy you need to cut back on fatty foods like fast foods. When you are healthy it becomes easier to encourage the people around you to be healthy as well!
