PAW PARTY!We had a fantastic PAW party today! The students did a great job! Continue to encourage "Jackson Pride" at home. | Symbols of America This week we learned what a symbol is (a picture/object that stands for something). We learned about the following symbols; American Flag, Statue of Liberty, White House, and Bald Eagle. We also wrote about what we learned about each symbol. | Engineers! We read many Fairy Tales this week and began our science unit on structure and function. Fun pictures will be put on Seesaw soon! |

Symbols of America
We also wrote about what we learned about each symbol.
What did we learn this week?
Writing: The students are continuing to draw two pictures and write two sentences on their own. We talked about staying on topic with multiple sentences.
Phonics: We learned the poem "Five Little Froggies" and the students found rhyming and HFW. We continued working on blends in words, ending in words, and digraphs.
Math: We finished talking about 2D/3D shapes and began addition.
