Bad Weather Day?
Remember that lovely day before Christmas where we were all so excited we didn't have school? Well we do have to make up that time. Our students have enough extra instructional time that we don't have to make up a student day. However, teachers and support staff have to make the day up. Support staff do not have to clock in, just keep a record on paper and turn it in to us.
Below are some Q/A to help you understand...
Can I just use a sick day?
Yes
Can I work on a Saturday?
Yes, just email me when you arrive and leave.
Can I work two hours a day after school?
Yes, document dates and times to turn in.
What constitutes a day?
8 hours
When does it have to be done?
For aides and teachers on a regular contract/schedule, it needs to be done by June 15th. For staff on 11 month contracts, work an extra day after your contract.
Let me know if you need further clarification, I’ll do my best to answer or find the answer for you.
