President Obama's Inaugural Address

Obama gave a speech about a new birth of freedom. Obama took office while American troops were carrying out military duties in Afghanistan and were going though a financial crises.
Barack Obama's inaugural address it is evident that he wants everyone to stay strong and show their opinions, because everyone's opinion matters.
- "Through blood drawn by lash and blood drawn by sword, we learned that no union founded on the principles of liberty and equality could survive half-slave and half-free."
- "You and I, as citizens, have the power to set this country’s course."
- "We, the people, still believe that every citizen deserves a basic measure of security and dignity."
Obama began his speech, he did the Pledge of Allegiance.
Obama is being sworn.
