Counselors' Update
ISA, September, 2020
Dear Families,
Please see below for some resources regarding National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and also information on our upcoming Coffee with the Counselors.
If you or your student need to schedule an appointment with a counselor, NEISD has created a new Contact a Counselor button that you can access here or on the ISA Student Bulletin. And as always, you can email or call us to schedule a meeting.
We look forward to working with together this year!
Best regards,

If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide, help is available. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline offers both a 24/7 hotline (1-800-273-TALK) and a chat option. Your Professional School Counselor can also provide you with community support referrals if needed. We encourage you to share this information with family and friends and via social media.
If you are interested in getting involved with the movement to help spread awareness and prevent suicide, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Out of the Darkness community walks are great places to start.
