A student asked, “What is an orgasm?” She misread ‘organism’.
During the author visit the author mentioned her husband had a bad habit of reading while watching TV. A first grader asked how does he do that. Another first grader replied, “easy, he has one eye on the book and one eye on the TV.”
Me: Amelia Earhart was the 16th woman to have her pilots license and 16 isn't very many.
Student interrupting: You're right it's 1 ten and 6 ones.
Student: Ms. ???
Teacher: Yes?
Students: This ball is rubbing on me in weird places and it feels kind of good.
Teacher: Oh… Maybe we should find a new spot now…
