As a child Michael Jordan loved playing sports as a kid. He played football, basketball, and baseball. Baseball was his favorite of the three. In high school he didn't make his school basketball team. He still mad it to the top and has a very famous known name.
Michael Jordan once said "I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying."

Jackie Robinson
In 1947 Jackie Robinson broke baseball’s color barrier to play for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He had lots of talent as a baseball player. Robinson won the National League Rookie of the Year award his first season. He also helped the Dodgers win the National League championship in the first of his six trips to the World Series. In 1949 Robinson won the league MVP award, and he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962. The way Robinson handled the critics inspired a lot of people today to pursuit their dreams.
Tyler Perry
Tyler Perry had to persevere his whole life. He was abused by his own father as a child. He also was homeless before he got to where he is now. It’s like when Tyler Perry said “I realized that everything that had happened brought me to this position where I am now.” that all those experiences made him work harder. He persevered then and it payed off now, today he is a well-known millionaire.
