The week of October 10-14 we enjoyed National School Lunch Week! The theme was Peace, Love, and School Lunch. We had a Hippie Dress-Up Day, which was a lot of fun. Students enjoyed great food and looked for winning stickers under their trays for FREE ice cream. It was a fun week! Thank you to Mrs. Angie Tilley and Mrs. Renee Fulk for feeding us as well as to our SCS Nutrition Department- Mr. Matt Brown, Mrs. Tina Mabe, and Mrs. Regina Robertson.
On October 19, Mr. Chris Lawson visited our students at lunchtime to tell them about Cub Scouts! He then hosted a Scout Sign-up Night on October 20. Several of our students signed up for Cub Scouts!
October 24-31, we enjoyed Red Ribbon Week. We were ready in red, teamed up against drugs, waged a war on drugs, showed we were too bright for drugs, showed drugs that Yellow Jackets rule, and finally scared away drugs!
