This information and more can be found under the Benefits page on the Employee Portal

STEP ONE

Open Enrollment is right around the corner starting Monday, November 5th! To be prepared, log in to the benefits enrollment site to review current benefit coverage and update beneficiary information. This is available to all employees 365 days per year.

  1. Visit awd.benselect.com
  2. Employee Number is full Social Security Number.
  3. PIN is the last four digits of SSN then two digit birth year (e.g. born 3/1/1980 and SSN is 988-78-9999. PIN is 999980.).

*Hint: This is the same site and log in information to complete Open Enrollment!

STEP TWO

Review beneficiary information while on the benefit enrollment site. Ensure the information is accurate and up-to-date. This is critical to not only ensure life insurance benefits are intentionally left to the right person, but if there is not a primary beneficiary listed, the life insurance payment may go to the estate where taxes and fees may be applied.

STEP THREE

Be on the lookout for an e-mail that Open Enrollment is live. You will be able to enroll in benefits from November 5-16, 2018. The coverage start date for benefits elected during Open Enrollment is January 1, 2019.

Every benefit eligible employee MUST make an active election even if there is no intention to change any benefits. As a reminder, flexible spending accounts do not automatically rollover.

There will be enrollers available at each building during Open Enrollment. For more information, contact Stephanie Ford at sford@zcs.k12.in.us

On-Site Benefit Enrollers

Enrolling can be done completely online! There will also be an Enroller from Steele Benefits on-site in each building during the last week of Open Enrollment (November 12-16) to provide assistance. No appointments are necessary.

It is encouraged to bring a laptop (if possible) to be able to login on one's own benefit profile. There will be laptops available at the ESC location.

A Steele Enroller will be available in the afternoon each day from 3:30 to 5:00, and two Steele Enrollers are available all day on Friday, November 16. Feel free to stop by to get questions answered!

Big picture
A Steele Enroller can be contacted directly at 317-286-6121 if unable to meet during these times.
