From the Principal
Dear Parents-
It's been a short two days for our students. Our teachers had professional development opportunities during the first part of the week. They learned new concepts which they have been able to apply in their classrooms over the past two days.
I hope everyone is continuing to collect money for our annual fundraiser. We want to surpass our goal from last year. I've seen so many cute pics on Twitter. Keep tweeting and I will retweet to keep our momentum going strong!
ITBS is coming up for grades 3 and 5 this month. Please keep this testing week on your radar and make sure students get a hearty breakfast and plenty of rest.
Milton has a home game on October 21. Unfortunately, I am traveling every weekend this month so I'm unable to attend. Please support our Eagles at home games when you can. Many of their players read to our kids and this has been so special this year. Please enjoy a few pics below.
I hope you have a great weekend. Next week the Smore will come from Mrs. Richardson. I will be in NYC most of next week for work visiting Teacher's College for staff development. If you have any needs in my absence, please contact the office.
Rachel A. Williams, Ed.D.

Georgia Parent Survey
The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphones or tablet. All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Results from the Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. The URL address for the Georgia Parent Survey is posted below.
