News from the Holy Rosary/Juan Diego Community
Message from the Principal: Oct. 19th
As you know, the vast majority of the children in our school are learning to read, write, and speak in Spanish. Parents of students in the Juan Diego Academy who do not know Spanish often express their desire to join their children in acquiring a second language, as well. This may be something you have always wanted to do or perhaps it is a way to better support your children in their endeavors. Either way, we have a special offer for you! Mrs. Noting is teaching an adult Spanish class every week. The first class begins tonight. It is on Wednesdays from 4 - 5:30 pm and will essentially be an accelerated 101 class. In addition to teaching our 3rd and 4th graders in Spanish every day, she has also taught language classes at Tacoma Community College and Brown University. The cost for these classes is just $5 each session. If you would like to contact her directly, please email Mrs. Nolting at email@example.com. This is just one of the ways that we are growing as a community and celebrating the rich diversity of our school. Have a wonderful week!
