Howler Hub

Vol. 3 Edition 1

Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year!

We are excited to welcome our students on Monday, August 12th for the first day of the 19-20 school year!!

New Schedules - Please look at the list near the Cafeteria or in ANY classroom building to confirm your first period.

On Monday, all students will receive a new GREEN schedule. Students will either ride the bus or be dropped off in the car loop at the front of the school. When students enter the school through the black gates on the North or South side of the campus, they can head to the cafeteria or into our buildings to find lists posted by last name in alphabetical order.

Students should find their last name and then look to the right of it to find their first period teacher. All students need to look at the list because some classes may have changed this week due to balancing. When students arrive in their first period class they will be given their new green schedule.

Traffic Circle and Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Parents, as a reminder, please use caution when driving in our traffic circle. The drop-off and pick-up area for students is in front of the front office by the yellow pillars. When using the traffic circle, please only turn from the outer lane. The car loop exit is the 2nd turn upon entering the traffic circle. Please pull all the way forward up to the car in front of you. Please drop your student off and pick them up by the yellow pillars. Electronic device use by drivers in the drop-off lane is not permitted for student safety. We have new signage in the car loop and revised procedures. We thank you for your cooperation.

Schedule Change Requests

Any schedule change requests made on orientation day have been completed. If we could accommodate the change, then it will be reflected on the student’s first day schedule. If we couldn’t, then the schedule will be the same. All schedule concerns during the first week of school will be handled by announcement on the first day or via a machform link available in all lunches during the first week of school.

Student Fees

All fees may be paid online. Students may also pay fees during their lunch the first week of school. All locker assignments will be given out during the first two weeks of school at lunches. All students can purchase lockers online.

Click here to pay your fees online! You must have a parent mystudent account.

Did you pay fees for a class your child no longer has on their schedule? Not to worry! Simply email our Bookkeeper, Lorraine McKinney, and she will get your reimbursement to you!

Lockers may be purchased online. Locker assignments for lockers that are out in classroom buildings will be ASSIGNED during lunches. Students who purchased a PE locker will receive their PE locker assignment during their PE class during the first two weeks of school.

Student Parking Passes

Student parking passes will be processed during C and D lunches on the stage. Please do not go to Student Services. You must have copies of your driver’s license, registration, and insurance in order to purchase your parking pass. Parking passes cost $40.00. All new student drivers must take the Safe Behind the Wheel Canvas course located on our school website.
