The approximate location of Austin is 30.25 degrees N. and 97.75 degrees W. It is also near the large cities of Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.

Austin is mainly hill country, especially the suburbs. The hills are small and long but there are lots of them.

Austin is in the Southwestern United States so it is dry, mostly flat, or slightly hilly. It is near Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Arizona.

A common animal found in Austin and its suburbs are deer. The deer are creatures of habit and walk in the same places all the time, creating deer trails.

Human Environment interaction

Austin has a large population of hunters that hunt different game from deer, dove, squirel, turkey, and even wild hogs. The hunters then use the animals for a food source or to make products out of the pelts.
