We need the following information as soon as possible:

  1. All college acceptance letters
  2. Financial Aid/Scholarship Award Letters - Please inform Mrs. Berry in the Counseling Office of any scholarship awards received regardless of your intention to accept them. Just bring us a copy of your award letter. We would like to recognize all scholarships awarded to GHS seniors at Awards Night and in the graduation program.
  3. Military paperwork - A copy of your Military paperwork is necessary so that you may have a military cord to wear at graduation. Please bring your paperwork to Mrs. Berry in the Counseling Office.

For those of you who may be experiencing "senioritis", remember how important these final grades can be. Colleges make decisions based on the final transcript and that could also mean the difference in receiving the $5,000 LIFE scholarship. Many of you are very close to the 3.0 GPA so work hard in your classes during this term.

What is a micro-scholarship?

A micro-scholarship is an amount of money that students are eligible to earn based on individual achievements throughout 9th - 12th grade. They are awarded by colleges and universities who partner with Enter your grades each semester, and all activities, jobs, and volunteering and watch the money add up! Follow those schools offering you money by their deadline!
