Upcoming Events/Reminders

Hi Parents: I wanted to take this time to remind you of some upcoming events and let you know about some new things we will be working on in the near future.

Upcoming Project

Baby Bottle Campaign for Piedmont Women's Center

Your daughter may have brought home a baby bottle from AHG last week. This bottle is from Piedmont Women's Center. The explorers are working on a service project and are asking our troop to participate as well. (This is optional!) If your daughter chooses to participate we ask that she take a baby bottle home and fill it up with change. She is welcome to ask friends and family to assist in this. The bottles need to be returned to AHG on Tuesday, April 5th. Also, on Tuesday, April 5th we will be having a baby shower for Piedmont Women's Center. We are asking for donations of diapers or wipes. If you are not familiar with PWC please check out their website at http://piedmontwomenscenter.org/. If you have questions please feel free to email me at amandarmalphrus@hotmail.com. Thanks!

Dates to remember:

Tuesday, March 29th - NO AHG Meeting

Tuesday, April 5th - Baby bottles are due as well as diapers or wipes (optional)

Saturday, April 9th - AHG/Trail Life USA Yard Sale at Devenger Road (optional)

Saturday, April 22- AHG Camping at Devenger Road

AHG/Trail Life USA Yard Sale

Our troop has been asked to participate in a yard sale with Trail Life USA. This yard sale will be held on Saturday, April 9th. We are asking you (optional) to find things around your house that you would like to put in the yard sale. We also ask that you price those items ahead of bringing them to DRPC. The money made off of these items will go to the troops. This is optional for our girls as we have already had our big fundraiser for this year but if you would like to participate that would be great. More information is to come.

AHG Prayer Locker

The AHG Prayer Locker is a place for AHG girl members to submit prayer requests and praise reports! AHG wants to know how God is working in the lives of girl members and ways in which AHG Staff can help pray. Encourage your girls to visit americanheritagegirls.org/girls to share what God has on their heart. "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

AHG on the Radio

AHG is celebrating the return of Patti Garibay, AHG's Executive Director and Founder, to Family Talk Radio with Dr. James Dobson and Dr. Meg Meeker. Patti was one of Dr. Dobson's first radio show guests in 2010 and was asked to once again share the vision and mission of AHG with thousands of families across this nation.

Please visit drjamesdobson.org to listen to the broadcast and share with friends and family.
