These pythons can grow up to 20 feet in length. They are larger than most native speices and are tan in color with dark blotches

They are native in south Asia and like to hang around water and in trees.

Where are they a problem and when did it arrive here?

They are a problem in everglades national park and arrived here in the late 20th century

Where did it come from and what are its nicknames?

It arrived here and became a problem after hurricane andrew destroyed many exotic animal warehouses, setting the pythons free. Also, irresponsible pet owners tend to let them go into the wild to breed and grow.
