A Message from Nurse Pennington
All medications must be picked up by a parent/guardian prior to the end of school on Friday, May 26th, 2023 by 12:30 p.m. or will be discarded per district policy. Medication can NOT be sent home with students. All returns must be signed off by the RN and person picking up.
Health & Medication forms must be completed YEARLY. Forms for next year can be accepted if completed/signed after June 1st. These forms are districtwide and can be used for any Humble ISD school. The forms needed are located here: https://www.humbleisd.net/Page/110766

Pre-Kindergarten Registration - Saturday, May 20
Families enrolling students in Pre-Kindergarten are invited to attend a registration day at the Old Lakeland Elementary on Saturday, May 20, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Old Lakeland Elementary is located at 1500 Montgomery Lane in Humble. While registering in person, families will be able to complete a new student registration form and verify eligibility. Information will also be available in regards to transportation, campus locations for Pre-Kindergarten programs, language testing, and more. Individualized Registration Appointments are now open as well.

Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten Registration is open. Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2023, to qualify for Kindergarten. If you were not able to make your campus Kindergarten Round-Up, please visit the Kindergarten Registration page to learn more.
KINDER CLUB
We are so excited your family is joining our Humble ISD family! Kinder Club was created as a way to introduce families to Humble ISD and the Humble ISD Education Foundation. Join the club for $20 and your child will receive a Kinder Club shirt with his/her graduation year and a drawstring backpack with educational resources to get them ready for success in kindergarten.

Camp for Incoming 4th-8th Graders
Kingwood Park HS's award-winning journalism program is holding a camp in July to challenge incoming 4th-8th graders to explore 21st century journalism by telling stories through various mediums. Projects will include writing, photography and multimedia. Team competitions will be scattered throughout the days, packing them with fun and learning. Attendance Matters
Attendance is very important to a child's education. If your child(ren) have to be absent for any reason, please report the absence.
When reporting an absence, it is important to include the child's first and last name, the teacher's name, date(s) they were absent, and the reason for the absence. Listed below are some options on how you can report an absence.
