The Three Billy Ghosts Boo

Written by the BJAMS Kindergarten Class

Once upon a haunted time there were three Billy Ghosts who were all named Boo. They were very bored because there was no one in their house to scare. They wanted to go across the street to the big Halloween Party and scare all the people but there was a big, hairy, spider blocking their doorway and they would have to float past her to get outside.

The biggest Billy Ghost Boo flew through the spider and yelled “Boo!” The spider was scared, but didn’t want to let the Ghosts go past.

The biggest Billy Ghost Boo flew up into the air. But he was hungry so he came back. The middle Billy Ghost Boo took off and went out the door. He said “Bye” to the other ghosts. But the spider was still in the doorway so he didn’t get very far.

The littlest Ghost dressed up in a cowboy costume. The spider didn’t know who he was so he let him out.

The littlest Ghost went back into the house and made wings and then flew out again. But the littlest Ghost didn’t want to go alone so he came back.

The middle Billy Ghost Boo dressed up as a rockstar and snuck right into the halloween party and the spider didn’t even know. But he really wanted the other two Billy Ghosts to be there too so he came back home.

The Littlest Billy Ghost Boo saw people playing soccer and he wanted to play too. But the spider was still in the way!

The middle Billy Ghost Boo told the other two “We should float out the window!” and they tried but they got lost.

The Biggest Billy Ghost Boo went home to make apple pie.

The Biggest Billy Ghost Boo walked out right through the spider. But the spider was too prickly so he turned back.

The littlest Billy Ghost Boo put on the cowboy costume again and he rode a horse to jump over the spider to get out. But the horse was scared of spiders too so he didn’t want to jump over it.

The Biggest Billy Ghost Boo floated through the wall and he went outside and made cracker pie. But he had to come back inside to bake it.

The Biggest Billy Ghost Boo made a boo berry pie and then he put the pie in his hand and smashed the pie into the spider’s face.

The Biggest Billy Ghost Boo figured out that the spider was actually an alien because when he ate the pie the spider didn’t react to the pie because Aliens don’t react when you put pie in their face.

The littlest Billy Ghost Boo went inside the spider and moved him around. But the other Billy Ghosts were too scared to go past the twitchy spider.

The middle Billy Ghost Boo tickled the spider.

The spider laughed and said “That is a great Halloween trick! You should show everyone at the party what good tricksters you are!”

So the three Billy Ghosts floated happily across the road to the party, carrying pies and wearing costumes and ready to tickle and trick all the partygoers.

And they all had a Happy Halloween.

Stunt Nite at Rice

Stunt Nite is one of Rice's favorite traditions. Each class puts together an act with elaborate costumes, music, and dancing - competing against the other classes for the prize. It's a lot of fun, students love it, and it's a great way to see Rice in action.

Rice is offering 1 free ticket to BJAMS middle school students for the 4pm show at the Flynn on Tuesday, Nov 22. Other paid tickets can be purchased when you redeem your free ticket.

Request your free ticket and purchase more here.

Rice Enrollment Opens Nov 7!

Apply early and reserve your student's spot for the 2023-2024 School Year. The application will be available on 11/7.

You can sign up for a personal school tour with Admissions Director Stacy Bessette.

We also offer prospective students the chance to shadow an older student for a day and see what a day at Rice is like.
