THE WOLVERINE CONNECTION

February 3-8, 2020

From the desk of Mr. Lewis

Don't forget we will be having our basketball homecoming festivities tonight when the boys basketball team host Loogootee. The JV will tip off at 6:00 pm and homecoming festivities will take place between games.

We want to wish the best of luck the girls basketball team as they begin sectional play next Tuesday, February 4 at approximately 7:30 in the second game at Clay City in sectional 57. Please see below for the sectional draw and the potential schedule for the week.

We also want to wish the best of luck to all of our Wolverine musicians participating in the district solo and ensemble contest at Bloomington North on Saturday, February 1 and Saturday, February 8.

There is still time to get your students information in for the new telehealth network we have at the high school. Please note that we must have a completed consent form packet to see a HS student. There will be a PDF attachment below in the newsletter that you can print off and complete and return to the HS or you can pick one up in the HS office. If you would like a paper copy sent home with your student please call the HS office.

Be sure to check out the new Wolverine Tenets which will serve as guiding principles across the entire school district grades preK-12. This is a small piece of our ROI work with more exciting pieces to come in the future!

It is my hope you find this Wolverine Connection a valuable tool as we continue the school year. Please feel free to contact me at dlewis@wrv.k12.in.us if you ever have any questions or concerns and remember to always Be Proud Wolverines!

Sincerely,

Doug Lewis, Principal
